What is Profound Treatment?
Profound is a revolutionary new energy-based facial treatment designed to create new elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid – the building blocks that keep your skin smooth and elastic. Profound dramatically improves aging skin, so you can look years younger.
How does it work?
The treatment involves the application of microneedles to the skin that safely and quickly deliver radiofrequency (heat energy) below the (chilled) skin's surface. The skin on the face and neck can be tightened and rejuvenated in one session. The procedure takes an hour from start to finish in our office. There are 3 to 5 days of mild bruising and swelling.
What types of treatments can be performed with Profound?
Profound can be used to treat the face and neck as shown in the photographs above by repairing the dynamic properties of the skin. It is also one of the few treatments that is effective for stubborn cellulite.
